USNA Õ63 Mid Term Reunion
December 1, 2010, Status Report
Dear Classmates,
We certainly hope that you have already made plans to attend the Õ63 Mid Term Reunion in San Diego next March 31-April 3, 2011! The official registration process has been underway for about six weeks since October 15, 2010! If you missed the earlier announcements and information, please go to www.usna63.org/reunions, and scroll down to the October 15, 2010, entry where you will find all the Registration documents in either Word or PDF format. If you have any difficulty, please contact any of us on the MTR Committee or your Company Web Master for Assistance!
As of November 30, 2010, we have 57 Classmates (107 people) registered. This is only about one-third of our expected numbers based upon last yearÕs survey results. We know that lots of you are still planning to come, but just havenÕt gotten Òa round tuitÓ yet! Well, now is the time, folks! As you can imagine, in order to put these events together, we had to enter into a number of Contracts, which will be coming due within the coming weeks. Therefore, we need your Registration commitment as soon as you can. At the end of this report is a listing of Classmates by Company who have registered so far.
There was some confusion early on about rooms at the
Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel. Our
original guaranteed block of rooms (at $131 per night) were quickly taken. Fortunately, we have added another
block of rooms at $156 per night, still a real bargain for a hotel like this on
the San Diego waterfront! In
addition, there are a variety of upgrades and Suites available for those so
inclined! Call Hyatt central
reservations at 888-421-1442 and identify yourself as
a member of the USNA Class of Õ63 Reunion.
